I'm at the half way point through this life and passionate about living out my purpose.

In this episode of the Change Through Pain podcast, I discuss how sacrifice means something different to people from all walks of life and is measured based upon a person’s perspective derived from their own life experiences and environment.

Life really is like a box of chocolates because you never know what you're gonna get. One day everything is going the way you expect it should based on your story of success and out of nowhere, a right hook delivers a blow you think might keep you down. You feel as if you were blindsided and maybe you were, but this could be the push you never knew you needed. This might be the catalyst that pushes you out of your comfort zone and to the next level of becoming the greatest version of yourself. Take this opportunity to reflect on your relationships personal and professional, your physical, mental and spiritual health, your career and your passions. Determine if you are living the life you want or should be. Create a vision board with goals even if they seem unattainable. If your goals don't scare you, they aren't big enough to push you to reach your maximum potential. Get out of your head and push fear aside and believe that you can achieve. Do one thing everyday to get you a step closer to achieving your goals. Celebrate daily the opportunity to pursue your goals and appreciate the many blessings in your life by practicing gratitude. Learn to accept whatever life throws at you and never stop learning and improving who you are becoming. Share your newly gained knowledge with others as your way of giving back and making a positive impact on the world. What are you waiting for? Do your daily habits equal success in your life? How do you define success? Without discipline or purpose, we are wandering aimlessly through life. We may experience highs and life may be going well and you may feel on top of the world. However, what happens when we hit rock bottom and lose everything? All that we thought made us happy is now gone and we realize our happiness was wrapped up in things that are fleeting and inconsistent. This is when having discipline of your mind, body and soul keeps you grounded and appreciative of the many blessings you still have. Discipline your mind and spend 10 minutes each morning meditating on what you are grateful for, your vision, your purpose and your goals. Discipline your body and exercise 30 minutes each day by walking, hiking, running, cycling, playing tennis, etc. Discipline your soul by priming your spirit for 10 minutes each morning reflecting on your strengths, your loved ones, your successes past, present and future. Visualize the accomplishments you will have and feel appreciation. Use the energy you create through priming and meditation to be a positive energy in your interactions with others. Stay focused on the end goal, however live in the moment to get the most out of each experience to learn and grow. I promise your life will change for the better as you stay disciplined to become the best version of yourself. What are you waiting for? Get Inspired To Change Your Life www.changethroughpain.com

In this episode of Minute Motivation, I refer to three recent blog posts where I discuss how to overcome communication struggles, the roles men and women play, why relationships fail and how to have success by stepping out of your comfort zone. I’m seeking engagement on any or all three of the posts so we can all learn from each other. Please share a success story or a story where you learned something valuable and improved yourself or future relationships. Thank you

Appreciation for the many blessings in your life empowers you to take action. Each day is a new opportunity to exercise your mind, body and soul. When you take action to better yourself and the people and environment around you, life has meaning and purpose. Don't overthink and create stories in your mind that allow your fear of the unknown to keep you standing still. If you feel this starting to happen, get moving, think of something you are grateful for, put a big smile on your face and reach out to a friend or family member. You might get knocked down a few times, but keep getting back up and fight for your best life no matter what others say, think or do. If you are doing for others with no expectation of receiving anything in return, the activities you engage in become more meaningful and naturally spread joy. Those you encounter will receive your positive energy and will likely want some of the "happy pills" you are taking. Once they discover there is no drug and the key to their happiness is within them, they will likely be influenced and want to replicate what you are doing to achieve this state of mind. Simply by you being authentically content and happy with who you are and what you have, you are giving back to others by example. Be grateful, love yourself, be present, be the example, take action and start living life as it was intended. What are you waiting for? Get Inspired To Change Your Life www.changethroughpain.com

We all have expectations of how we view our relationships with friends, families, coworkers and a significant other. These expectations often result in disappointment when our expectations are not met. In this episode of Minute Motivation, I share how our relationships can improve if we change our expectations and are willing to accept what life gives us. Please watch and comment on how this video impacted you to make a change and share it with one person that needs some motivation. Thank you!

The most valuable and often most productive time we have each day is alone time. Many of us are afraid to be alone and some of us are very uncomfortable in silence. The thousands of thoughts racing through our mind can be overwhelming and downright scary. We sometimes allow negative thoughts to creep in and take control of our attitude which can result in negative actions. Be strong when dealing with toxic people or environments and create distance by setting boundaries to maintain your peace. Don't set expectations too high and be content with accepting whatever happens and learn from the experience. Include a daily practice of gratitude as a constant reminder of the many blessings in your life. Something as simple as appreciation for today as another opportunity to wake up an have a positive impact on others. When we prioritize time to spend in a quiet peaceful place, we allow our minds and bodies the opportunity to reflect, heal and recover. It's important to find a place that is free of distractions to fully be present and focused on cleansing our spirit and regenerating our positive energy. This daily exercise does not take more than 10 – 20 minutes if you are committed, focused and relaxed. Once you make this daily ritual a habit, you will learn to control how you respond to the thoughts that enter your mind, which will result in how you react, which is often best if no reaction at all. Life is about choices, and once you decide to take back control of the things within your control and release your ego's expectation and desire to control what happens, life becomes peaceful. Take action today and start your day off in a place of peace to reconnect with your subconscious, to live fully in the present moment and get moving toward creating your best life and becoming the best version of yourself.
