Sobriety has forever changed my life

As I reflect on the last 14 months of sobriety and my decision to forever change my life by no longer running from my emotions and all of life's problems, I am beyond grateful. Choosing to no longer drink alcohol was a decision made while I was at rock bottom in all areas of my life. The journey hasn't been easy, not because of the desire to drink, but rather the process of healing the past traumas and hurts I was avoiding. My life has improved in all areas through daily disciplined actions to work on my growth as a father, son, brother, friend and all around human. The keys to my success and creating a new lifestyle include these daily activities: – gratitude – meditation – exercise – healthy diet – journaling – reading – podcasts – commitment to building healthy relationships – removing myself from toxic people or environments – accepting myself and my circumstances – forgiving myself and those who hurt me – learning to love myself fully I've learned that staying present in the moment and acknowledge fear, anxiety and depression are unable to survive when life is lived right now with an open heart, mind and soul. It gets lonely if you attempt to take this journey on your own, so I encourage you to reach out to friends, family, a counselor, support groups or a life coach. You too are capable of living a life of peace, abundance, joy, love, empathy, happiness and gratitude, but you've got to decide to take the first step. If you need support, guidance or someone to simply listen, send me a DM and let's start the conversation which could lead you on your own journey to becoming the greatest version of you! What are you waiting for? You have so much to gain! Get Inspired To Change Your Life Much Love – Bradley
