Today is the day to start living your best life

There is no better time than right now to decide to live each day in the present moment. When we focus on the now and give our full attention and energy to the current experience, we have no room to live in the past or worry about the future. We realize that not everything that happens is something we might consider good or positive, however, if we accept it for what it is and learn from it, we will not allow resentment or negativity to remain part of our energy. The idea is to release the emotion associated with the present event and move on to the next moment and appreciate it for what it is. When we practice this daily, we discover the things that happen to us do not control us. Rather, we learn to respond or not respond from a conscious state versus the subconscious. What this means is we take ownership of how we react to every moment good or bad. This keeps us in a state of acceptance and optimism understanding that what is happening right now will not last. We must learn to live each moment with excitement as a new opportunity to love, learn and receive. Life is about enjoying and appreciating everything we encounter. We also learn what does not serve us and are more capable of not allowing our emotions to keep us where we should not be. By remaining in each moment, we are much more likely to step out of our comfort zone because there is less fear and anxiety. Living in the present moment will also help you appreciate the important relationships in your life and you will naturally put more energy into others. A vital part of fully living in the present is releasing any past hurts or trauma you are holding onto. This can be done through guided healing meditation as well as one on one therapy. Once, you've released this toxic energy, you will be free to experience your life on a whole new level. Decide right now, to heal your inner child, get excited about the fact you are alive, step out of your comfort zone, establish and enforce boundaries, focus on relationships, no longer live in fear and make today the start of the new life you've been avoiding.
